ZDG Media has partnered with several Mazda dealerships across Canada, each with unique goals. Some needed consistent, high-quality social media content and management to build their local presence, while others focused on new customer acquisition and promoting in-store sales events online. Our role was to create tailored strategies that helped each dealership stand out, drive leads, and connect with car buyers where they spend the most time: online.

The Challenge
Most of our Mazda dealerships were struggling with two main issues: not enough quality leads online and low visibility on social media. While the dealerships offered great cars and promotions, most didn’t have the time or resources to create consistent content. Their pages lacked engagement, and organic reach was minimal, making it difficult to stand out in a crowded automotive market.

Locally, we stepped in to handle everything social media; from content creation, video editing, post scheduling, etc.
Our team filmed, designed, and produced eye-catching videos and visuals for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok; creating content that felt fresh, authentic, and on-brand for Mazda. Several posts went viral, and overall their online visibility and engagement skyrocketed. Depending on the dealership, followers grew roughly 330% to 1,250%. For some, post views increased 391.4%, likes jumped 880%, and profile views soared 2,225%.
On the paid media side, we launched high-performing Meta Ads to promote in-dealership specials, seasonal promotions, and limited-time incentives; driving real traffic and showroom visits.
We optimized each campaign to bring down the cost per lead while keeping lead quality high. To do this, we used Instant Forms with smart filters to weed out unqualified leads and simultaneously directed high-intent users to the dealership websites to complete more detailed lead forms … which consistently delivered top-quality prospects.
In addition, for some dealerships, we ran Google Ads campaigns to target local buyers with high search intent; and most often to promote those interested in promotional offers and electric vehicles. This ensured they stayed top-of-mind (and top-of-page) when potential customers were ready to make a purchase.
